"This place was lovely. The Cottages were decorated the way I wish I could afford to decorate my own home, totally modern and cool. I like to look for "hotel" alternatives, but B&Bs never suit me because I like modern and I like privacy. The cottages were the best of both worlds, AND it has a pool that only the three other little cottages use... how amazing. "If you want great location in Healdsburg, you just can't beat Healdsburg Modern Cottages. It's only a few blocks from the plaza, and the ease of walking to dinner at night and then strolling back to the room is wonderful. Healdsburg Modern Cottages is reminiscent of small inns I've stayed at in Europe; there's such a European feel to the design aesthetic both in the cottages and in the landscape. Great location, able to easily walk to all the restaurants, including Cyrus, Barn Diva, and Scopa (all totally yummy), and all the bars. Our cottage was as described, clean, modern and wonderful. it was a great place to come back to after a day of wine tasting, relaxing and then going out for dinner and drinks. "Coming from New York City for my daughters wedding in Healdsburg presented criteria and challenges for a weeks stay for a 'Destination Wedding'. The Cottages, with its simple modernist elegance, gave me the opportunity to have a quiet coffee in the morning, have wedding guests and the bride in neighboring cottages and, the ability to graciously entertain guests for an evening glass of wine. Best of all, a lovely space to have the bride dress for the wedding with room for her friends to gather with her. I look forward to returning again, for a get-away with my daughter and her husband. "My wife and I stayed at the Healdsburg Modern cottages not to long ago and were super happy. First of all, the decor was great. We love modern architecture and furnishings and the cottages could not have fulfilled our needs any better. I even got some great ideas for our home! And...the location was great. We were right in the middle of town with action outside our door and the ability to taste some great win just a quick car ride away. Sure made for a perfect getaway! "We found this property last year. After numerous trips to Healdsburg, we were tired of the granny cottages and over priced Hotel Healdsburg. We didn't require all the services of the hotel and founds these guest cottages the perfect answer to our search. Wonderful design, amazing linens and super, super comfy beds!
